Pediatric Diabetes

Pediatric or juvenile diabetes is chronic type 1 diabetes which affects the young population, particularly children under the age of 15. Such diabetes brings about lifetime dependence on exogenous insulin. Signs and symptoms of pediatric diabetes are like other types of diabetes and children are more likely to develop the disease if there is a family history of diabetes.
